Hoxie Brook and Covered Bridge Showshoe races

I did the 3.5 mile Hoxie Brook and 8 mile Covered Bridge snow shoe race in Adams, Ma yesterday. I have to say that running the 8 mile was a lot easier than the 4 miler last Sunday. This race had an equal amount of single track and snowmobile trails, so your legs got a break. It did have some pretty good climbs but also some great downhills. I came in 25/56 in the 3.5 miler and 12/30 in the 8 miler. I have to say that these snowshoe races have given me a great workout and hope it transitions to my running.
