I dragged Doug and Luna out this morning
for local 5K race. I love races that are close enough to run
to. The 13th Hibernian 5K took place about a mile from my
house. Anyway, this was my first race in a while, and Luna's
first race ever. The brown bullet, as we like to call her,
is the fastest dog I've ever seen.
Anyway, I think there were about 100 people
at the start, and we did our best to pass as many as we could.
In fact, we were doing fine until Luna had to stop along the
side of the road and poop. Being a responsible pet-owner,
I did have a bag with me, and I got to run for about 1/2 mile
with that bag. Ick. I found a dumpster at the Higgins Jr.
High to dispose of it though, Aside from that it was a fun
time. I came in 25th overall, and 6th in M30-39.
